The search that opened this site is how you arrived. These terms are with Steven Palmieri, the practice behind the site. They cover the use of the pages and what a first call is. They are not a scope of work. A scope is a separate writing, signed when both sides know the job.
What the pages are, and are not
The pages are general reading about keeping books, setting up payroll, preparing statements that carry no assurance, and preparing a return. They are not advice for your facts. Rates and dates are drawn from public Texas sources and can change. If your facts are unusual, the page is the wrong place to settle them. The call is the right place.
Nothing on the site is an assurance report. Nothing on the site is a promise that a number in your file will come out a certain way. Examples are shapes of work. They are not your numbers.
A free call is a conversation
Booking a time or sending a form starts a conversation. It does not hire the practice. It does not obligate you to continue. It does not obligate us to accept the work. Either side can stop after the call. That is a normal outcome, not a failed one.
Please do not send sensitive identifiers in the form. Tell us the trade and the month. We will ask for documents only if a scope is going to exist.
Engagements, scope, and fees
If we work together, the scope names the work, the months, and the fee. Work outside that writing is a new conversation, not a silent add on. Fees are agreed before the work, not invented after a surprise. If the books are further behind than the scope assumed, we stop and say so. We do not quietly triple the job.
You still own your records. We keep copies of what the work requires. Payroll, once set up, is released by you on the provider in your name. We do not become the employer, and the pay run never moves onto our login.
What the work depends on from you
The close depends on access to the bank activity, the cards, and a straight answer when something does not match. A month cannot be called closed while a question you can answer is still open. If you want the return from those months, the months have to be true. We would rather delay a filing than decorate one.
You are responsible for the facts you give us. We are responsible for telling you when the facts do not hang together. That is the deal, and it is a fair one.
The site itself
The pages may change as the work and the public sources change. A wrong sentence, once you name it, is corrected or taken down. The site is offered as reading. It is not a portal into your books. Do not try to break it, scrape it into a product, or present it as your own writing.
Texas law governs these terms. The footer phone is the way to reach a person about them. We would rather fix a sentence than argue about one.
